Privacy Policy

Gathrin respects your privacy. We collect information such as your name, email address, payment information (processed securely by third-party providers), uploaded photos/videos, device information and usage data to provide and improve our event photo-sharing platform.

Users retain ownership of uploaded content. By uploading content, you grant Gathrin a limited licence to store, process and display it solely to provide the service. We do not sell your photos.

Uploaded photos and videos are stored using a secure third-party cloud storage provider and are not made publicly accessible. Depending on the reveal setting chosen by the event host, photos may remain hidden from guests until the host's chosen reveal moment. We do not access uploaded photos ourselves except where necessary to investigate and resolve a reported technical issue, complaint, or suspected violation of our Terms & Conditions.

Photos and event data are retained for as long as the associated event's plan remains active, and may be deleted a reasonable period after an event concludes or an account is closed, unless a longer retention period is required to resolve an open issue or comply with law.

We do not store full card details. We may share information only with payment processors, hosting providers, service providers and authorities where legally required.

We use reasonable security measures and cookies to improve the service. In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information or photos, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users and to investigate, contain and remediate the breach as promptly as reasonably possible. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Gathrin is not liable for losses arising from unauthorised access to or disclosure of data that occurs despite our security measures. Gathrin is not intended for children under 13. Policy updates will be published on this page.

Terms & Conditions

Gathrin provides shared event galleries where organisers and participants upload and access event media.

Users must provide accurate account information and are responsible for their accounts. You must be at least 18 years old to create a host account or make a payment through Gathrin. Payment is required before an event gallery is activated.

Users must not upload illegal, infringing, offensive or malicious content. Users retain ownership of their uploads.

Event hosts and guests are solely responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate consent to photograph, upload and share images of other individuals at an event, including any minors. Gathrin does not review or control content uploaded by guests before it is shared and is not responsible for a host's or guest's failure to obtain that consent.

Photo quality depends on each guest's own device camera, browser, and the lighting conditions at the venue. Gathrin cannot guarantee a specific level of photo quality, particularly in low-light environments, as this is a hardware and environmental limitation rather than a service defect.

Gathrin relies on third-party providers for services including payment processing, cloud storage and email delivery. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or data-handling practices of these providers that are beyond our reasonable control.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gathrin and its owners, officers and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, photos, revenue or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant event in the six months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gathrin, its owners and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your uploaded content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights — including any failure to obtain consent from individuals photographed or featured in uploaded content.

We may suspend or terminate access to the service, remove content, or decline to process an event at our discretion where we reasonably believe these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others have been violated.

Once an event gallery has been created, the order cannot be cancelled.

We strive for continuous availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.

Refund Policy

All purchases are generally non-refundable.

Refunds are only available if Gathrin experiences a verified technical failure during the event that prevents the service from functioning as intended, the event gallery cannot be created due to a technical fault caused by Gathrin, or duplicate payment is successfully verified.

Refunds are not available for change of mind, event cancellation by organisers, poor internet connectivity at the venue, user error, failure of guests to upload photos, photo quality affected by low-light or other venue conditions, or dissatisfaction unrelated to a technical failure of Gathrin.

Once an event gallery has been created, cancellation is not permitted.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 7–14 business days. Requests should be emailed to contact.gathrin@gmail.com together with the order ID, event name and description of the issue.

Ownership Statement

This website is owned and operated by Gathrin, a Pakistan-based digital platform for collecting, organising and sharing event photos and videos.

All branding, software, logos, graphics and website content are the intellectual property of Gathrin unless otherwise stated.

Complaints Handling Policy

If you experience any issue with our service, please email contact.gathrin@gmail.com with your order ID, event name and a detailed description of the issue.

If you are not a Gathrin account holder but appear in a photo uploaded to our platform and would like it removed, email contact.gathrin@gmail.com with the event name, a description of the photo, and your contact details. We will review the request and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We will acknowledge all complaints within 24–48 hours.

We aim to investigate and resolve complaints within 5–7 business days.
